ASCENTIS ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA - RULES OF COMBINATION

Ascentis has validated 8 Access to HE Diplomas:

• Access to HE Diploma (Business and Enterprise)
• Access to HE Diploma (Creative Arts and Design)
• Access to HE Diploma (Education Professions)
• Access to HE Diploma (Engineering and Technology)
• Access to HE Diploma (Health and Social Care Professions)
• Access to HE Diploma (Humanities)
• Access to HE Diploma (Social Sciences)
• Access to HE Diploma (Vocational Science)

Centres do not have to offer all subjects (level 3) and units (level 2) within a particular Diploma but sufficient should be offered to comply with the rules of combination relating to mandatory and optional subjects/units.

At Level 3, units must be taken as two subject sets of 4 units each, plus the HE Toolkit, which is mandatory for each Diploma.

IMPORTANT!  Learners should always check with the receiving Higher Education Institution (HEI) about their entry requirements before starting the Access to HE Diploma to ensure the correct combination of units are taken.
