E-assessment is provided for Ascentis’ Short Vocational Qualifications.  Ascentis supports the use of e-assessment by providing instructions for centres on:

  • Testing your system
  • Scheduling an e-assessment
  • E-assessment day
  • Re-scheduling e-assessment

We are also available to support centres via email or telephone if there is any difficulty on the day or at any other time. E-assessment is done via a computer within a centre by logging in to the system with a username supplied by Ascentis for each learner.

Each e-assessment lasts for 40-minutes and consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. Learners will be supplied on screen with a provisional result at the end of the assessment. Achievement lists can be printed once e-assessment has taken place

A confirmed result and certificate for the learner will be issued within 10 working days of the test date.
