Ascentis are delighted to be hosting a Pre-Entry Learning for Speakers of Other LanguagesFunding, Quality Assurance, Underpinning Skills conference.

Themes of the day will include funding, the development and rigour of a non-regulated qualification and building a learner’s confidence whilst underpinning skills in order to progress successfully through the levels to further education and work.

This event is to coincide with the launch of the brand new Pre-Entry Level Award in Introduction to Learning for Speakers of other Languages (Non-Regulated).

 

Speakers

 Guest speakers include Beej Kaczmarczyk – Director of the Learning Curve Group, Dawn Smith – ESOL Specialist Product Development Manager, and Lynn Bennison – Lead ESOL Specialist External Quality Assurer. We will also hear from the Faculty Head of Foundation Studies, South & City College Birmingham.

The conference is suitable for centre staff involved in the delivery of Pre-Entry ESOL and ESOL, also staff directly responsible for funding and in particular Pre-Entry ESOL (non-regulated) and ESOL.

This is a FREE event and places are limited.
