Salary: £24,980.76 per annum

Hours: 36.5 per week

Holidays: 25 days a year + Public Holidays

Indirect Dyslexia Learning (IDL) is a unique, specialist intervention software program that is proven to be highly effective for improving reading and spelling for all ages. Due to huge customer growth in Scotland over the past year, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills who would feel comfortable representing Ascentis and demonstrating the IDL software to teaching staff.

Working from home, you will support primary and secondary school educators through the provision of educational software. Although a ‘soft sell’, this requires diligence in communications with busy teachers, you will be required to work from an existing database contacting SENCos (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) and Head Teachers within Primary and Secondary schools via email and telephone to arrange onsite demonstrations of the IDL Software. You will expected to achieve sales targets by nurturing and closing self-generated and provided leads in a manner in line with the culture and esteemed values of the company. You must have a desire and passion for education and an ability to achieve and exceed targets. No experience is required as full training will be provided on the product, approaches and the relevant selling techniques however, a background in education would be desirable.

You will need to be able to travel around Scotland and there will be the occasional overnight stay required for training purposes, team meetings and conferences.
