Salary: £20,500 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours:  Full Time – 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with the option to work flexitime.


Job Description

Ascentis is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our enthusiastic and committed Marketing Team. You will be responsible for supporting the commercial department by assisting in the development, creating, planning and implementing a comprehensive strategic and tactical marketing strategy for business development. To raise brand awareness to potential and existing customers, measure and report on the effectiveness of all marketing activity and achieve high-quality, effective work for the organisation.

You will also be required to travel as required throughout the UK and in some circumstances to engage with customers, external partners and relevant agencies.


Key Skills required for this role

  • 3 years + experience in the marketing industry
  • Experience of website maintenance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and implement plans
  • Ability to organise and prioritise especially under pressure
  • Ability to achieve agreed targets and to work to deadlines
  • Positive attitude to change, development and quality
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build close knit relationships with external personal and agencies
  • Possession of good ICT skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
  • Commitment to a high standard of customer service


We would be particularly interested in candidates that have experience of working in the education sector however this is not essential.
