How to become a centre What you need to do If you are applying to offer Ascentis qualifications for the first time you will need to seek centre recognition. This process is straightforward and you just need to - Download and complete the Centre Recognition Form here The process We have created the following documents to make the process as simple as possible – Centre Recognition Form – Guidance Document On receipt of your completed forms we may decide to carry out a Centre Recognition visit. If a visit takes place, a report will be completed by an Ascentis reviewer and will be submitted to your centre and to the Ascentis Quality Assurance Manager. The final decision on recognition is made within the Ascentis Quality team and your centre will be notified. Once approved you will also need to sign up to the Ascentis Centre Agreement. This is a fee charged by many Awarding Organisations. This is a charge to enable us to continue to offer a high level of products and services to our customers such as; Free Internal Quality Assurance courses Free Regional Quality Meetings Free qualification approval Two free Verifications Development of new qualifications Unlimited online support Designated Customer Support Assistants for all centres Centre Recognition for Access to Higher Education Diplomas Please note: if you wish to be recognised to deliver the Ascentis Access to Higher Education Diploma programmes please contact Melanie Porritt, Commercial Manager, on [email protected] who will be able to supply you with the Access to Higher Education Centre recognition application form. Centre Recognition for ESOL Centres wishing to offer ESOL Skills for Life must have been operational for a minimum of two years.
