Free Internal Quality Assurance and Assessor Courses
Any member of staff who internally verifies Ascentis qualifications is entitled to attend one of our free Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) courses. These are held throughout the academic year in various locations and also by webinar.
Quality Assurance Events
To ensure standardisation across centres we hold free Regional Quality Meetings for qualification suites such as ESOL and Education and Training. These are facilitated by our subject expert External Quality Assurers and attended by tutors and coordinators of the relevant qualifications. These meetings give an invaluable opportunity to network with other practitioners, share best practice, see exemplar materials, and focus on standardisation. We also hold free subject specific Quality Assurance Webinars for suites such as English, Maths, Short Online Qualifications, Construction, Community Interpreting and Progression. For our Access to Higher Education providers we hold Curriculum and Standardisation Meetings.
Having listened to feedback from our centres we understand that one of your main priorities is having any queries dealt with quickly and efficiently by a designated contact. We ensure that all centre coordinators have named contacts at Ascentis to help with any queries, as well as your designated External Quality Assurer. We also have dedicated Development Managers and Quality Assurance Managers for all qualification areas, and each centre has a Customer Support Assistant to ensure you get the most from our qualifications.
