Standguide – Delivering ESOL success with Ascentis

As a provider, we have had a very positive experience with Ascentis since we joined in 2025. The onboarding process was simple and seamless, thanks to the dedicated team who guided us through every stage. All aspects were clearly explained, from pricing and registering on the learner management system to understanding the quality assurance processes and managing EQA visits.

Centre- and qualification-specific training has been excellent, with very positive feedback from our staff. Their staff development opportunities, quality meetings, and CPD sessions have proven invaluable both for us as a new centre and for our team of highly experienced staff.

The ESOL qualifications we deliver through Ascentis play a vital role in supporting our learners to improve their English language skills and build confidence in speaking with others in and out of the classroom. Many of our learners successfully complete multiple ESOL courses and are then able to progress to further learning opportunities. This progression helps to enhance their educational achievement and future employment prospects.

By offering these qualifications, we feel we are providing a strong support system that helps learners achieve their goals. For those ready to advance, they can progress onto our other pathways, such as Functional Skills English and the Ascentis Level 2 and Level 3 Community Interpreting qualifications. These have been particularly beneficial, with many learners securing employment after achieving their qualifications.
