Innovative New Space for The Ascentis Group
The foundations of The Ascentis Group’s brand new Head Office are now being dug on the Lancaster Business Park, a prominent location on the edge of the City Centre. Ascentis, an education charity and its subsidiary IDLS (International Dyslexia Learning Solutions Ltd) have outgrown their current office as a result of rapid expansion.
In recent months Ascentis has taken on some large international projects and with the upcoming launch of IDLS’ Dyscalculia Screener, Ascentis are taking this opportunity to invest in a new office with the hope of it being the best building to work in in Lancaster.
With the need for a new space, Ascentis are working with Office Interior Designer Opus 4 to create a modern, fun work environment for their staff. The new 3 storey office will be double the size of their current premises offering plenty of opportunity for business expansion in the future.
Paul Carroll, Head of IT at Ascentis comments: “This is an exciting new development and a landmark in the history of Ascentis. Our aim with the new build is to create a fun, functional, modern office that will be one of the best places to work in the area.
In order to realise this goal, we asked all staff to come up with suggestions and worked with a specialist design company to incorporate as many of these suggestions as possible into the office and also allow for future growth of the company and its subsidiaries. We are excited to see the outcome and cannot wait to move into our new location towards the end of the year!”
A breaking ground ceremony took place with Ascentis CEO Phil Wilkinson and Rayner Rowen Construction to commence the build and mark a new chapter for Ascentis.
