New English & Maths Skills Quality Assurance Resource
A new on-demand training resource is now available for centre staff involved in the delivery, assessment or internal quality assurance of Ascentis English and Mathematics Skills qualifications. The content is aimed at members of staff who are less experienced in delivering Ascentis qualifications, or who would like a refresher.
The resource is available through the QuartzWeb platform. To find it, log into QuartzWeb and click “Resources” in the top ribbon, followed by “Documents”. Then Select “Administration Documents” and “English and Maths Awards” for the type and sub-type. There is a PowerPoint Show file named Ascentis English and Maths Skills On Demand Resource 2020-21.ppsx which includes a voice-over and also a pdf version of the slides. If you require access to QuartzWeb, please contact the Super User in your centre.
Please note that this resource is not a replacement for the mandatory training delivered by Ascentis to all centres upon qualification approval. It is the centre’s responsibility to ensure that all staff involved in the delivery, assessment and IQA of these qualifications are fully aware of the requirements and have access to all of the relevant documentation, and that they undertake appropriate standardisation activities within the centre.
