Qualification Overview
The Ascentis Level 1 Award in Introduction to the Construction Environment introduce learners to the construction industry to enable them to progress with further training and employment within their chosen areas.
Aims
The aims of the qualification are to enable learners:
- To prepare learners for further training within their chosen occupational area
- To promote the importance of work-related skills within the construction industries
Target Group
Young people age 14+ and adults who have an interest in following a career within the construction industry
Assessment Method
All units are internally assessed through the learner building up a portfolio of evidence that covers the relevant assessment criteria, internally assessed and verified by the centre and then externally verified by Ascentis.
