This qualification is intended for those who wish to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance without any requirement to practice, from within an organisation or assessment centre.

Aims

The aims of the qualification are to enable learners to:

  • Develop an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance.

Target Group

This qualification is aimed at a range of learners, including:

  • Learners in the 19+ age group
  • Those working or intending to work as internal quality assurance staff within an FE centre, Adult and Community Learning centre, an Independent Learning provider and directly within the workplace
