NEW Ascentis Level 3 Certificate in Managing Property and Residential Lettings
Qualification Overview
This qualification will be available from April 2026
The new Ascentis Level 3 Certificate in Managing Property and Residential Lettings qualification has been designed to prepare landlords for letting, understanding contracts and tenancy agreements. We have worked closely with industry experts to align content and assessment to contemporary regulation, inclusive of the Renters Right Act 2025.
There are several features of this qualification that makes it very appropriate for its target learners:
- Verification and certification can be offered throughout the year, allowing maximum flexibility for centres
- Can be delivered either as a classroom-based course or as a blended learning programme
- Assessment is by a multiple-choice test, offered onscreen.
- An online invigilation option for each assessment is available.
Aims
The aims of this qualification is to enable learners:
- To prepare landlords for letting
- To know how to set up and manage a tenancy
- To understand property standards
- To know how to end a tenancy
- To understand contractual relationships and business conduct
Target Group
This qualification is aimed at a range of learners, including:
- Those who have undertaken some work in this area and wish to develop their skills.
- Those who wish to acquire a formal qualification to enable them to progress within this sector.
Assessment
To gain the Ascentis Level 3 Certificate in Managing Property and Residential qualification all learning outcomes and assessment criteria within all units must be successfully achieved. The full certificate consists of 5 units.
