  • Enable learners to develop an appreciation of the role played by mathematics in the world of work and in life generally

Aims

The aims of the qualifications are to:

  • Promote the development of mathematical skills to embed their importance as an evolving life skill
  • Prepare learners to use mathematical skills in a broad range of familiar and working contexts
  • Reward achievement for the mathematical skills learners have developed
