Strengthening English Education in China

Ascentis is proud to collaborate with ACADSOC, one of China’s leading online ESL education enterprises, to deliver impactful qualifications that support both learners and teachers. This partnership has already enabled over 11,000 students in China to achieve the Ascentis International Certificate in English (ICE), significantly enhancing their language skills and future opportunities.

Beyond supporting learners, Ascentis and ACADSOC have also worked together to design a bespoke Level 4 one-to-one online teaching qualification aimed at up-skilling more than 20,000 teachers worldwide. This initiative ensures that English tutors in China and beyond are fully equipped to deliver high-quality language education, supporting the country’s ambitious educational objectives.

Since its founding in 2011, ACADSOC has grown into a major global organisation, headquartered in Shenzhen with offices in Hong Kong, New York, and, most recently, Edinburgh. With over 15,000 staff globally, ACADSOC provides one-to-one English learning, speaking training, and study-abroad services.
