Ascentis is an Awarding Body and a registered Educational Charity. Our vision is to create life changing opportunities for all. We are very proud to be an official Champion and support National Numeracy Day 2019.
Poor numeracy skills affect people’s opportunities and those with poor numeracy skills are more than twice as likely to be unemployed.
Numeracy is at the very heart of Ascentis and we are committed to help everyone build confidence and improve their skills to use numbers in everyday life.
Our Maths Stepping Stones qualifications are broken down into individual bite-sized units to enable learners to focus in on specific skills gaps. This helps to build learner confidence and allow progression. The spirit of these qualifications is helping learners to improve their numeracy skills to help them overcome day-to-day challenges.
On the 15th May 2019 Ascentis staff will be taking the National Numeracy Challenge to improve their own confidence with numbers. We are all numbers people! #NationalNumeracyDay
